About the Author
Dr. Naser A. Anjum is a researcher, teacher, and prolific author who earned his Ph.D. in Botany from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. He pursued postdoctoral research training at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Centre, Academia Sinica (Taiwan). With a scientific temperament nurtured since his early academic years, Dr. Anjum has made significant contributions to the field of Plant–Environment Adaptation Biology.

He has authored more than 130 peer-reviewed research articles and over 20 reference books, establishing himself as a creative and widely published scholar. His research has been supported by prestigious funding agencies, including the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (Lisbon, Portugal), the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (New Delhi, India), and the Department of Biotechnology (New Delhi, India).

In recognition of his scientific contributions, Dr. Anjum has been elected a Fellow of several esteemed societies, including the Linnean Society of London (United Kingdom), the Indian Botanical Society, the International Society of Environmental Botanists (India), and the National Academy of Biological Sciences (India).
